According to the New Ministerial Regulation No. 34 the year 2021, foreigners who allowed to enter Indonesia are very limited only for essentials travels. They should have Indonesian valid visa and/or Indonesian valid stay permit.

  • Visa requirements based on Ministerial Regulation No. 34 the year 2021 are as follow:
    1. A sponsor letter;
    2. Foreign national’s passport biodata page;
    3. Tickets for entering/exiting the Indonesian territory;
    4. Health Certificate in English issued by competent authority declaring free from Covid-19;
    5. Declaration/Consent Letter in English to do a mandatory self-isolation or medical treatment at facilities designated by the Indonesian government at the traveller’s own expense, when PCR test upon arrival showing positive (+) with Covid-19 or showing symptoms by the health protocol and provisions of Indonesian laws and regulations.

    8. Sponsor of Visitor Visa Applicant must demonstrate that they have sufficient funds of at least US$10,000 to support the living expenses of the applicant during a stay in Indonesia.
  • The Visa online application is a seamless process. After the Sponsor and the applicant fulfilled all the visa requirements, billing code will be issued for the Sponsor to solicit the Visa Fees. After payment is made, the profiling and background check will take 2-3 days to have the visa approval/rejection.
  • After the approval, e-Visa will be sent to the email of the Sponsor and the applicant. Indonesia is implementing the e-visa so that foreigners, upon receiving the e-Visa, could directly visit Indonesia without the necessity of collecting the Visa sticker from Indonesian Embassy/Consulate.
  • Currently Indonesia temporarily revoke the free visa policy and the above-mentioned visa requirements are imposed to all Foreigners.
